Charcuterie

In simple terms, charcuterie is the preservation or cookery of meat, often referring to pork. At our shop, we've carried products like Guanciale, Lardo, Prosciutto, Pate, Speck, Bresaola, Coppa, Soppresata, and various other Salumi - all ready-to-eat products perfect for any antipasti or charcuterie platter. We try to focus on charcuterie producers who use meat from humanely raised animals and who employ traditional handcrafted practices.

We have been honored to feature many great domestic artisans in our meat case. Today, we have selections from La Quercia (Iowa), Smoking Goose (Indiana), Crested Duck (Pennsylvania), and Bava Brothers (California).  If you are looking for something particular, please call the shop to ask a cheesemonger.
