Yes, we're offering a selection of cheeses, meats, and pairings in Small ($65) or Large ($115 - pictured to left) for your Thanksgiving Cheese Course! Whether for consumption while you're cooking, as an appetizer, or even a savory dessert course, we're here to make your job easy and make you look like the hero. Order online for pickup Nov 25, 26, or 27 and SKIP THE LINE! Whether you're hosting or headed to Friendsgiving, bring the Cheese Course! Remember we have limited availability for our preorders since we order in a special selection not currently featured in our shop. If you're outside of Austin, we'll SHIP YOUR CHEESE COURSE; just get your order in by Sunday 11/24 by midnight, and we'll ship it on Mon 11/25.

Thu 11/21 - Cheese & Beer Pairing featuring Circle Brewing
You might not know it but (shhh!!!) beer is one of our favorite pairings with cheese. And experts across the globe will tell you it's easier to find more delicious complimentary pairings in the beer and cheese worlds than with the traditional pairing of wine. Join us in the Cheese House for a 5-flight pairing of cheeses and beers. We'll explore different styles of each and what we look for as tasters when marrying flavors. Each will also come with an additional pairing and accompaniments like olives, nuts, and bread. Ticket details here.
New (exciting!) Holiday Hours!
NEW HOLIDAY HOURS! For the first time ever, we're extending our Sunday hours from 11 am to 7 pm. That means we're open now through the end of the year from 11am to 7 pm Every. Single. Day. Of. The. Week. While this may seem like a small feat, it means more labor, new schedules, different operating procedures, and more. So come to reward our team and visit them starting at 11 am on a Sunday!

In The Shop
This holiday season, we've let each cheesemonger select a cheese to bring back into the shop that they want on their holiday boards or can't live without. We'll be announcing them throughout the weeks, kicking it off with Shop Lead Jeanna Moreno and her pick: Wabash Cannonball, a golf ball-sized goat's milk cheese, dusted in ash, with a beautiful (and delicious) geotrichum candidum rind. Made by Jude Schad and her team at Capriole in Indiana, this is a perfect treat. Jeanna is an avid goat-cheese lover and a Sofia fanatic, so she wanted to try the Wabash. Her ideal pairing right now is InnaJam Seascape Strawberry Jam, clinging to a little bit of that last summer heat. Come treat yourself!
We're also thrilled to meet a new friend - Basil Hayden's Bourbon Rubbed Cheddar from Beehive Cheese out of Utah. Last year, we had the pleasure of serving as the official cheesemongers for a Basil Hayden #Friendsgiving, and after just the right amount of cocktails, John threw out the idea of introducing them to cheesemaker Pat Ford. And the rest - is their magic and genius - resulting in this new cheddar you'll definitely want to come to try. Hey, we'd make a case that almost all Thanksgiving tables need it...
December Tasting Events
Calling all lovers of soft, decadent, spoonable, rich cheeses! We're re-launching a newly-envisioned "Soft Cheeses" class. Do you love bubbly? Then bring your fave sparkling wine, beer, cider, or even sparkling local water. We'll talk about the science of taste on your tongue, the combination of bubbles with palate-coating cheeses, and how effervescence enables aroma. Put that taste and aroma together, and you've got the flavor. Come enjoy a variety of 7 different soft cheeses with food pairings from jams to honey.
