Last Chance to Celebrate Seasonal Cheeses
Be still my heart. We have a couple of wheels left of newly-crowned World Champion cheese Rogue River Blue. How did the season already come and go? We're down to a handful of wheels left of Black Betty - which I fully anticipate to be out before the holidays are over. And there's Glarner Alpkase and Rush Creek Reserve. And once we're out, we won't see these cheeses again until - gasp - next late fall/winter. Oh, the beauty, deliciousness, and heartbreak of seasonal cheeses. Come taste what the fuss is all about!
Getting Better with Age...
Age. Aging. It's on my mind, as I celebrate my birthday tomorrow. (Shout out to all the holiday season babies out there!) It's also top of mind as we end another decade and begin planning for our annual anniversary festivities to be celebrated in February. We'll be 10 years old as a business. And while we have much to learn, we are certainly much wiser than we were when we started. I looked at this week's email for last year, and it announced the final days of our failed downtown kitchen concept. I sit here this morning, so grateful. Humbled. Appreciative. You see, not only did we rebound, we rallied this year. And that's in large part thanks to you. For the first time in a while, we were able to hand out cash bonuses yesterday to our whole team. I can't begin to explain the juxtaposition of this time last year versus today. Here's to every person who sat in traffic a few minutes longer or altered their commute to come to see us; it mattered. It matters. And for those of you still needing to round out any holiday meal prep or gift shopping, know that you'll be greeted with smiles when you visit us. Because for us, it's not just a job. It's our joy to serve you. Thanks for the opportunity.

Cheese of the Month Club
Know a cheese aficionado? Or trying to find a gift for the person who has it all? May we humbly put forth the suggestion of a subscription to our monthly CHEESE CLUB - available in 3, 6, and 12-month increments. Prices online include shipping, but we offer discounts for monthly pickups in the shop. Every month's selection includes 3-5 cheeses and varies styles, milk types, and themes to ensure there's always something to be loved. From Taste of Place to One-of-a-Kind, to Meet the Maker, we feature cheeses from across the US, as well as favorite imports. Often, we bring in cheeses especially from hard-to-get folks that aren't regularly offered in this region, nor in our shop. Some selections include a jam or preserves pairing. And to top it off, we made some fun improvements:

Our team is still busy building cheese and cured meat platters every day. For those who don't eat or specifically pork, we do offer Vegetarian Cheese Trays (with selections made from all vegetarian rennet as well.) We only need a day's notice to get it done, so feel free to push us to the max and keep those orders coming! We love being a part of your holiday parties and celebrations.
