Our First IN PERSON Event...

Y’ALL! It has been TOO LONG! And while we’ve been grateful to see the back of your heads as we load goodies into your car trunks this past year, we are thrilled at the prospect of seeing you in person. We’re still planning for a shop re-opening soon. But for now…. Let’s chat events!

In Person Classes: We’re starting to pepper in some outdoor events, thanks to our community partners around town. We’ll keep you updated, as we confirm more. Of note, the Cheese House is still closed to the public at this time, while we navigate yet another pivot into a hybrid world of two biz models! We will continue to offer virtual tastings as well. In the meantime, help us sell out our first event back in person!

Prosciutto, Salami, and Cheese…Oh My! A Cheese and Charcuterie Pairing
Wed, June 9 AT Easy Tiger SOUTH from 6:30-8pm This class is one of most popular classes that usually sells out quickly. We showcase 5 different cheeses (a mix of both pasteurized and unpasteurized), each paired with one of our small batch meats. We work with experts like Smoking Goose, La Quercia, Underground Meats, Olympia Provisions and Visca Charcuteria (to name a few) and more to source the finest products from across the globe. This tasting gives us the chance to play with the amazing flavors that charcuterie has to offer. Your cheese plate will be accompanied by Spanish corn nuts, pickles pairings, and a special selection of Easy Tiger bread. Meet us AT the South Lamar Easy Tiger (3508 S Lamar Blvd Suite 200, Austin, TX 78704). Before heading up to the patio, stop by the bar to grab a drink. The bar will have recommended beverages based on the evening's selection. The patio will open at 6:20pm for seating and at 6:30pm we will start the tasting. Pro Tips: Go to the correct Easy Tiger. There are 3! Get there early to purchase your alcohol BEFORE the tasting. Be ready in your seat by 6:20pm. We can't wait to see you! Tix here.

In Person Private Tastings: It’s like the good ole days! We are once again offering private IN PERSON events at YOUR outdoor location. Our Cheese House isn’t quite ready yet to host guests, but we’re happy to come to you if you have an outdoor space that can accommodate us and your guests. We prep all tasting plates in our health-inspected kitchen and we’ll continue following safety guidelines. But if you have a space in mind, we’re ready to meet you there. Inquire here.

We’re Hiring!
Thanks to you all, our cheese tray program is bustling. And we need more hands to help build beautiful cheese and charcuterie boards! We’re hiring for both a FT Lead Cheesemonger and a PT Cheesemonger to build orders. All team members accrue paid vacation and sick time, free access to therapy through our Employment Assistance Program, free tickets to events and shop discounts, and more perks. Our Cheese Around Town
Tiny Grocer on S. Congress knows that the whole point of Springbrook Farm’s Reading Raclette is melty goodness, and their Zilker Grilled Cheese honors that in the best way. You can order from their Tiny Delicatessen menu for pickup at 1718 S. Congress or swing by to check them out. From staples like coffee to fresh produce daily to a bottle of wine to have with dinner, Tiny Grocer is a one stop shop!

Unconventional Pairings - NEW Tasting!
Wed 5/19 - John is a master at coming up with unique and tantalizing flavors. Join him and Kendall for this tasting of 7 atypical pairings. From maple cream to marinated mushrooms and sardines to salted cantaloupe, we've got a fun experience planned of some of our unexpected fave pairing bites. Adventurous food lovers welcome! Get tix here to this virtual tasting. This event is offered via Facebook Live. (You do not need a facebook account to watch and join!) John will be leading the tasting live from 6-7pm, but you can also access the video anytime later that evening to do the tasting at your leisure or preferred time. Cheese-y Community Events
Fri, 5/14 (5-7pm) - A Texas Fine Wine Celebration of Texas Wine and Cheese Pairings - in person This event is hosted by Texas Fine Wine at the beautiful outdoor venue of Bending Branch Winery in Comfort. Your $40 ticket gets you 4 Texas wine pours and (our curated) box of 4 Texas cheeses that pair with each wine, as well as other pairing bites. Note that this is not an Antonelli’s event, but it is one we’re grateful to support. Details here.

Thu, 5/27at 6:30pm - A Perfect Pair: Antonelli's Cheese & the Blanton Museum - virtual. They say you eat with your eyes first so join us for an experience that will delight all your senses. This exciting event will explore works from the Blanton Museum of Art’s collection through our taste buds! We will journey from our home state of Texas to Italy, France, Holland, and Spain. Enjoy a carefully curated cheese selection and learn about the artworks with which they are paired. This special event will be hosted by two cheesemongers from Antonelli’s Cheese Shop and Blanton art curator, Holly Borham, Associate Curator of Prints and Drawings. Each ticket includes a cheese plate including seven cheeses, seven food pairings, Easy Tiger baguette, and Spanish quicos (corn nuts) along with exclusive access to the live tasting and art viewing. Blanton Members receive a 10% discount (that’s only $36 per plate)! You can also add wine and select contactless curbside pickup or local courier service at checkout. Details here.

: While we can’t ship you our cheese class plate, you CAN still take a virtual on-demand cheese tasting with us. Check out our Cheese Class in a Box, available for nationwide shipping in the continental USA. Each box has enough goodies to feed up to 4 folks (or leftovers for 1 person!), comes with a 10-min plating video, and an hour-long guided tasting led by John and me (Kendall). Folks can simply enjoy everything at their own leisure or take the included class. (Note that any orders made online now will be shipped the first week of January.) Current selections include:

May is American Cheese Month!
We challenge you to buy American ARTISAN cheese by finding alternatives for your European faves; help farms and cheesemakers stay in business so you’ll continue to get the cheese you love. This nationwide initiative of the American Cheese Education Foundation (ACEF) seeks to create excitement for and educate about American artisan cheeses, raise funds for scholarships and industry research, and positively impact cheesemakers bottom line. Get tix to our 5/23 “Taste of the USA” Virtual Cheese Event. (For locals only who can pick up their plates curbside or order delivery.) We’ll be donating partial proceeds to ACEF! Alternatively, order our Vegetarian Cheese Tray in May, which features all domestically-made cheeses. Bonus: they’re made with vegetarian rennet.
