Chocolate Covered Bacon...
The Sun through the Clouds
Oh how all the clichés are running through my head. “The light at the end of the tunnel.” “Brighter days ahead.” And yes, I feel it! Despite daily rain and thunderstorms, I increasingly feel a weight off my chest and pep to my step. As someone who has struggled with obsessive compulsive disorder, I wondered how it would feel to emerge into public after being so insular this past year. I’ve now had three meals out, and they were all wonderful. And I’ve hugged again! Other people besides my husband and children! After 365+ days! I know we’re all on various journeys and have taken different paths through this past year. I also know folks have been impacted in different ways. That said, the Antonelli family is grateful for the privilege, medicine, and ability to see friends again. Bring it on sky; there’s no raining on my parade! (Okay, I’ll try to drop the idioms…)
Unconventional Pairings with the Antonellis - TOMORROW Wed 5/19 - John is a master at coming up with unique and tantalizing flavors. Join John and Kendall for this tasting of 7 atypical pairings. From maple cream to marinated mushrooms and sardines to salted cantaloupe, we've got a fun experience planned of some of our unexpected fave pairing bites. Adventurous food lovers welcome! So Much To Celebrate - IN PERSONIn Person Tastings: Thank you for selling out our first in-person tasting event. We’ve already announced another! Join us Thur, June 24 from 6:30-8pm AT Easy Tiger South. We’ll be tasting 8 (yes 8!) cheeses in a Taste Off: Savory versus Sweet. We’ll have four sweet pairings (perhaps like our donut chocolate - pictured?!) and 4 savory pairings. We’ll talk through the theory of pairing - that is, marrying complimentary contrasting flavors (sweet honey with salty cheese) or similar flavor profiles (savory, nutty cheese with a similar spread). You decide which is the best and help us determine in real time. Last week’s announced class sold out within 3 days; will you help us sell this one out just as quickly? Get tix here. (And if in person isn’t right for you yet, see our continued virtual class offerings listed below or take our Cheese Class in a Box, an on-demand tasting experience.

May is American Cheese Month!
We challenge you to buy American ARTISAN cheese by finding alternatives for your European faves; help farms and cheesemakers stay in business so you’ll continue to get the cheese you love. This nationwide initiative of the American Cheese Education Foundation (ACEF) seeks to create excitement for and educate about American artisan cheeses, raise funds for scholarships and industry research, and positively impact cheesemakers bottom line. Get tix to our 5/23 “Taste of the USA” Virtual Cheese Event. (For locals only who can pick up their plates curbside or order delivery.) We’ll be donating partial proceeds to ACEF!
