Named after an historic local pioneer scout, Moses Sleeper is a milky and mild brie-like cheese developed by Mateo Kehler at Jasper Hill Farm in Greensboro, VT. With one of the highest quality milking herds (all Ayrshire cows who have silky milk) in the country, Jasper Hill is reviving the agricultural community of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The Kehler brothers have constantly been innovating their farm and cheese aging cellars in Greensboro, VT. They are invested in the local cheesemakers and dairy farmers and supporting the local economy.
Enjoy the light cauliflower and toasted nuts flavor of this ooey-gooey cheese which will ooze all over your plate.
Aged 6-12 weeks.
Moses Sleeper and Constant Bliss were Revolutionary War scouts who were killed on Bayley Hazen Military Road. Moses Sleeper, Constant Bliss, and Bayley Hazen are all three namesakes to awesome Jasper Hill Creamery cheeses.
