Featured: Raclette Night (South Lamar)
Who likes hot, melty cheese?! It's time for Raclette Night!
Raclette is the name of a cheese, a machine, and a dish - generally, cheese melted fireside onto a plate of potatoes, cured meats, and pickles. Raclette comes from the French word "racler," meaning "to scrape," and both Switzerland and France have rich histories of serving this famous (and fun!) dish.
This is an interactive, communal eating experience. Each table setup includes a 1/4 wheel Raclette Broiler: you'll heat up your cheese tableside, and - once melty - you'll scrape it onto your own composed plate of potatoes, pickled veggies, salad, cured meats, and bread. While the machines are heating, we will guide guests through the rich history and tradition of Raclette. We'll conclude the tasting with a flight of three artisan chocolates.
One ticket = one person and includes:
- all you can eat Raclette Cheese
- individual plate: 2 types of cured meats and 3 pickled veggies
- family-style dining: salad, potatoes, and crackers/bread (GF crackers avail if requested in allergies)
- a dessert flight of 3 artisanal chocolates
Beverages?
While water is provided at the tasting, you may choose to add on our recommended wine flight at the time of ticket purchase (below). Additionally, you may purchase beverages at the event, selecting from wine, beer, cider, sparkling water, and non-alcoholic wine. Note: We charge a service fee per bottle brought into our tasting room.
