/
A blend of 3-12 apple varietals, this sturdy cider is semi-dry with notes of pear and peach.
A Perfect Pairing
Soft bloomy rinds whisper sweetly to this semi-dry cider, like Cana & Harbison; as well as sharp cheddar – and it doesn’t get sharper in our cheese case than 10 Year!
The Full Bottle
Texas Keeper Cider was started in 2013 by three long-time friends, all born and raised in Austin, Texas: Cidermakers Nick Doughty & Brandon Wilde, along with Lindsey Peebles (manning events & legal matters). Texas Keeper No. 1 is their flagship cider. It’s crafted from 3-12 apple varieties fermented individually, then blended to build a well-balanced, dry cider with notes of ripe pear and melon, subtle rosewater and honeysuckle, with a crisp green apple finish. Texas Keeper #1 is a fantastic example of what a great cider should taste like, from right in our backyard!
