Calendar of Events

We regularly offer cheese tastings and classes in the Cheese House, and we are always looking for opportunities to get involved with the community and co-host events with other great local businesses. We'll continue to strive to bring you the most unique cheese-related events in Austin. The best way to stay abreast of our involvement in local happenings is to sign up for our weekly email newsletter. We will also do our best to regularly update our calendar online, but note that events often sell out faster than we can post them!

Sat, April 18, Antonelli's Cheese at Alamo Drafthouse (7:00-9:00pm): Join us for Jules and Jim, part of the Sommelier series and in honor of Raw Milk Appreciation Day. Raw Milk Appreciation Day only comes around once a year, so we decided to celebrate with a film from the country that loves cheese and wine more than the rest of us. Jules and Jim is cinematic perfection! If you're acquainted with the film you know how great this night will be. For the uninitiated, prepare to fall in love with one of the finest films ever created. We will "dazzle" your palate with wine and some of the greatest raw cheeses we have to offer. Monday, April 27, Collaboration with Hops & Grain #5 (6:30-8:30pm):Join us for our fifth monthly beer and cheese pairing at Hops and Grain! Tue, May 5, Women Behind the Wheels: A celebration of women cheesemakers (6:30-8:30pm): In honor of Mother's Day, we are taking time to celebrate the phenomenal lady cheesemakers of the world! In the earlier days of cheesemaking, the women were most often the artisans in this field, back when cheesemaking was a means of preserving dairy milk for the family. Now again, in a field that for a long while was dominated by men, the gals are often pioneering the industry! Sat, May 9, Cheese Is Love: A Mother's Day Date Night at Antonelli's! (6:00-8:00pm): Years ago, our Events program was kicked off by some beloved regulars asking us the following perfect question: "We love cheese. If you could put together a one-of-a-kind date night in your Cheese House, what would you do?" Well, we answered, and have been hosting our now famous Date Nights ever since (voted one of the 10 Best Things to Do in Austin by Austin360!). This Mother's Day, we are bringing this party to the people. Bring your favorite lady to enjoy shared composed cheeses plates, charcuterie boards, and assorted craft chocolates and other desserts, along with complimentary bubbles! While we will be on-hand to guide you through your tasting, this is after all a Date Night, so we will be walking from table to table more than speaking to the group at large, allowing you and your honey to both enjoy your experience at your own pace and to make cheese buddies with the other couple sat your table! Sun, May 10, Mother's Day Brunch! (Reservations from 11:00-2:00pm): Celebrate Mom with the first ever Antonelli's brunch! Enjoy a decadent spread of cheese, cured meats, Easy Tiger pastries, artisan smoked salmon, and specialty preserves. Cheesemongers will share stories of the producers and introduce each group to the different cheese and meat styles. In our "Cheers to Cheese Series," you'll get the opportunity to dig deeper into the wonderful fermented couple. In honor of American Craft Beer week we are diving into the world of beer. In this class, we will provide tips of the trade in pairing cheese and beer. Looking at the different styles of both beer and cheese we will help you navigate from lager and bloomy rind to porter and cheddar. You bring the beer and we will bring the cheese!
