Calendar of Events

We regularly offer cheese tastings and classes in the Cheese House, and we are always looking for opportunities to get involved with the community and co-host events with other great local businesses. We'll continue to strive to bring you the most unique cheese-related events in Austin. The best way to stay abreast of our involvement in local happenings is to sign up for our weekly email newsletter. We will also do our best to regularly update our calendar online, but note that events often sell out faster than we can post them!

Thur, Aug 14, Beer and Cheese Pairing at The ABGB (6pm): There are few things our cheesemongers love more than cheese and beer. Well, perhaps cheese and beer together! This fermented feast of cheese and beers is part of our "Cheers! to Cheese" beverage pairing series. Alongside an ABGB brewmaster, we'll guide you through a tasting of four beers paired with four of our cheeses, which have been especially chosen to highlight the bold and subtle flavors and aromas of our featured brews. Mon, Sept 22, "Mocktails" and Cheese Pairing at Drink.Well.: Voted one of Austin's "Best Cocktail Bars" by Austin Monthly, Drink.Well. is known for its carefully-crafted cocktails. But mixology isn't just about booze. So we're putting these folks to the test to see if their skills of creating balanced flavors are as seamless and delicious when there's no alcohol involved. (Spoiler alert: The drinks are just as awesome, special, and drool-worthy!) So whether you abstain from alcohol, you're pregnant, or you love booze but want to learn about the craft of mixology, this is the event for you. Oh yea. And the cheese. This event, part of our "Cheers! to Cheese" beverage pairing series, highlights our theories on how we pair cheese. Stay tuned for more event details and ticket release information!

TBD, October, Tea and Cheese Pairing at The Steeping Room: As part of our "Cheers! to Cheese" beverage pairing series, we're teaming up with the "tea folks" at The Steeping Room to pair cheese and tea. Similar to wine, the tannins in tea can often make pairing cheese a tricky and daunting task. But when you have a world of teas at your hands, the possibilities (and enjoyment) for tea and cheese bliss are endless. Stay tuned for more event details and ticket release information!
