Calendar of Events

We regularly offer cheese tastings and classes in the Cheese House, and we are always looking for opportunities to get involved with the community and co-host events with other great local businesses. We'll continue to strive to bring you the most unique cheese-related events in Austin. The best way to stay abreast of our involvement in local happenings is to sign up for our weekly email newsletter. We will also do our best to regularly update our calendar online, but note that events often sell out faster than we can post them!

OCTOBER

Sat, Oct 25, Cheese & Wine Pairing (5pm): We're teaming up with Duchman Family Winery and headed to The ABGB to celebrate The ABGB's 2nd Annual Fermentation Festival. Mon, Oct 27, Cheese at Circle Brewing Company (6-8pm): As part of Austin Beer Week, we're headed to Circle Brewing to eat cheese and drink beer. NOTE: This event is AT Circle Brewing. We're excited to co-host a tasting of five amazing pairings of cheese and Circle Brewing Co. beers. Join us on this taste adventure, guided by an Antonelli's cheesemonger and Circle Brewing Co. brewer who will share the stories of each beer and each cheese! Tues, Oct 28, Cheese and Candy! (6:30-8:30pm): We're excited to bring you a special Halloween-y class with Cheese and Candy pairings! Who could ask for a better and more decadent way to celebrate this spooky holiday than some amazing sweet-on-sweet and salty-sweet flavor combinations. We'll share seven distinct cheeses (both pasteurized and unpasteurized), each accompanied by a special candy or chocolate pairing, as well as our usual olives, nuts, and Easy Tiger bread. Thur, Oct 30, Cheese and Candy! (6:30-8:30pm): We're excited to bring you a special Halloween-y class with Cheese and Candy pairings! Sat, Nov 1, Cheese Tasting with Complimentary Adelbert's Beer Pairing (6-8pm): As part of Austin Beer Week, we're excited to co-host a tasting of five amazing cheeses with Adelberts, who will be providing complimentary pours of their beers at the Cheese House. NOTE: This event is at our Cheese House. Join us as we share the stories of the cheesemakers as well as the Adelbert's story and their brewing process. Sun, Nov 9, Pop-Up Chocolate Shop feat. The Chocolate Maker's Studio (12-4pm): Back by popular demand, we're turning our Cheese House into a chocolate shop for a day, allowing local chocolatier Steven Lawrence to doll out tastings of hot chocolates, truffles, and bars. This free event is a great opportunity to get to know a local producer, as well as pre-order food for your holiday spreads and gifts for your foodie friends! »

Tues, Nov 11, One-of-a-Kind: Cow's Milk Cheeses (6:30-8:30pm): Our "One-of-a-Kind" series delves deep into a particular group of cheeses, allowing you to taste the nuances within the category. In this class we are excited to feature the diverse world of cow's milk cheeses - from buttery to nutty to grassy to brothy, both pasteurized and raw. As always, the tasting will be accompanied by olives, nuts, and Easy Tiger bread. We'll also bring out a number of additional pairings like chutneys and charcuterie bites, depending on that evening's cheese selection.
