You've tried crackers and cheese, so why not Cookies and Cheese?!
It's BA-ACK! Our popular Cookies and Cheese Pairing, featuring those delectable treats pitched by your local entrepreneurial Girl Scouts! We've proudly been offering this unique, novelty pairing for almost a decade (long before it became trendy on social media to do so). That means, we think we're pros at this pairing combo.
We all know that sweet and savory is the way to go but, for this tasting, our Antonelli's cheese experts will guide you through a carefully curated selection of some of our best cheeses exquisitely paired with Girl Scout classics, as well as seven complementary preserves pairings. Additionally, if all goes to plan, we'll even get to have one of our favorite neighborhood Girl Scouts here to present on the cookies, as well as offer cookie sales directly from her to you after the tasting. (Note: We purchase all cookies for the tasting from the Girl Scouts at full price to support her local Girl Scout troop.)
One ticket to Cookies and Cheese = one person and includes:
- 5 cheeses
- 5 Girl Scout Cookies
- 5 specialty food pairings
- additional goodies, such as grapes & cocktail mix
Beverages?
While water is provided at the tasting, you may choose to add on our recommended wine flight at the time of ticket purchase (below). Additionally, you may purchase beverages at the event, selecting from wine, beer, cider, sparkling water, and non-alcoholic wine. Note: This is not a BYOB location.
Reserved Seating
We assign seats prior to your event. If you wish to sit with guests who are purchasing separately, we must be notified in advance. At the time of ticket purchase, there is a question prompt for you to list others in your group. Please note that we cannot seat groups larger than 7 at the same table. (Big groups? Know Before You Go:
- TIMING: We try to start our events as close to on time as possible. Please arrive on time or a little early. (Doors open 15 min before start time.) We'll guide all guests through a 1.5 hour tasting, leaving an additional 30 min for socializing. Total event time is 2-2.5 hours.
- LOCATION: Event will be held in-person at our Hyde Park Cheese Tasting Room (500 Park Blvd, Austin TX 78751), accessible off Duval Street.
- PARKING: Limited free parking is available onsite and neighboring streets in designated areas; there is additional paid parking behind the cheese shop across
