Our new community tasting room on South Lamar is now open! Located in Lamar Union Plaza (1130 South Lamar) alongside iconic Austin businesses like Alamo Drafthouse, Medici Roasting, Lick Honest Ice Creams, and Tiny Pies, our new location is another place to grab an artisanal cheese tray, take a cheese class, or host a private tasting. Please note that it is not a shop; cheese lovers can continue visiting our Cheese Shop in Hyde Park for cut-to-order cheese and charcuterie offered 7 days a week (from 11-7). 

Cheese Classes: Check out our online calendar of tasting classes. Did you know we offer over a dozen different topics and themes? From our most popular "Cheese 101" to our Cheese Pairings series to an exploration of different regions in our Taste of Place series, we offer numerous ways to get your cheese on. Our hope? Start with a Cheese 101, then come back for each class. We change up our cheese offerings monthly. Note that we offer public classes at two locations: South Lamar and Hyde Park. Make sure to select the proper location that meets your needs. The only difference? We can sell perfectly paired wines, beers, ciders, and some non-alcoholic beverages at our South Lamar location. Our Hyde Park location is BYOB, with optional pairings selected in advance from our shop across the street. 

Cheese Trays: Preorder a Cheese Tray online today for pickup Tues-Sat 11-4. Or, if you're just walking by during those hours, we're happy to make you a cheese tray to go. You can even enjoy it on our patio in front of the tasting room. Pro Tip: We also offer 40% off all our wine selections on carry out only. Note: We offer delivery 7 days a week.

Private Parties: Whether you're looking to spice up a corporate gathering - from teambuilding to client and employee appreciation events, or you're celebrating a personal milestone like a birthday, bachelor(ette) or bridal party, or even a baby shower, you can book our Community Tasting Room for your next event. Not interested in cheese but still need an intimate venue? Yes, you can simply rent our space as well.
