At Antonelli’s Cheese, we believe every bite of cheese should bring joy. Founded in 2010 by John and Kendall Antonelli, we have grown from a cozy neighborhood shop into a full-on cheese wonderland. We host tastings and events in our Tasting Rooms, ship curated cheese selections nationwide, and bring incredible artisan cheese to tables across Texas.

What is a Retail Cheesemonger?
A Retail Cheesemonger is like your local cheese superhero. Part storyteller, part culinary matchmaker, you’ll guide customers through the wonderful world of cheese—helping them find their new favorite flavors, pairings, and recipes. Cheesemongers don’t just know cheese; they live it, breathe it, and (of course) eat it! At Antonelli’s Cheese, you’ll be the face of our shop, building connections and making people smile every day.
What You’ll Do
Be the Ultimate Host:
Greet customers with a smile and make everyone feel like family.
Talk Cheese (a Lot):
Share fun facts, tasting notes, and pairing tips with customers.
Keep It Fresh:
Ensure our cheeses are stored, displayed, and handled perfectly.
Learn & Grow:
Dive into cheese education with tastings, farm visits, and training.
Spread the Joy:
Help customers plan epic cheese boards, find the perfect pairing, and discover new favorites.
Schedule & Compensation
Part-Time or Full-Time Position
Must have weekend availability since the busiest days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Compensation
Starting hourly rate from $12.50 - $15.00 per hour, depending on cheese experience, plus substantial tips.
