Holiday Recommendations from Mongers
Every holiday season our team gets inspired by our seasonal cheeses and sundries, and this year, our talented monger Stephanie Johnson has been busy dreaming up simple, delicious ways to use some of our favorites for cozy gatherings, quick appetizers, and showstopper sandwiches.

Below are a few of her seasonal favorites, all made with ingredients you can pick up right here at Antonelli’s.
Salad with Brabander Reserve Gouda and Apple Cider Jelly Dressing
This crisp, bright salad features Brabander Reserve Gouda and a tangy apple cider jelly dressing that pulls everything together.

Salad Ingredients
• 1 head leaf lettuce, washed, dried, and chopped
• 4 to 5 radishes, thinly sliced
• 1 medium apple, cut into matchsticks
• 1/4 lb. Brabander Reserve Gouda, diced small
• 1/4 cup Marcona almonds, chopped
Salad Instructions
Toss together the lettuce, radishes, apple, and cheese. Divide among 4 plates. Top with dressing, then garnish with chopped almonds.
For the Dressing
• 1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Jelly
• 1 1/2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
• 1 tsp. Pop mustard
• Large pinch of salt
• Pinch of dried thyme, crushed
• 2 Tbsp. oil
• Pepper, to taste
Dressing Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the jelly, vinegar, mustard, and salt until the jelly is mostly dissolved. Add the thyme, oil, and pepper and whisk again vigorously until emulsified.
Holiday Chevre Cheese Ball
This holiday cheese ball comes together in minutes and uses three delicious sundries from the shop. It is bright, lightly sweet, and perfect for snacking, grazing boards, or bringing to a party.

Ingredients
• Pure Luck plain chevre
• Blake Hill Orange marmalade
• Chopped ginger orange Marcona almonds
Instructions
Mix the Pure Luck plain chevre with Blake Hill Orange marmalade. Form into a ball, then roll the ball in chopped ginger orange Marcona almonds.
Chevre with Pink Bartlett Cutting Preserves on Effie’s Ginger Biscuits
A simple, cozy bite that tastes like the season.

Ingredients
• Plain Pure Luck chevre
• Girl Meets Dirt Pink Bartlett Cutting preserves
• Effie’s Ginger biscuits
Instructions
Mix the Plain Pure Luck chevre with the Girl Meets Dirt Pink Bartlett Cutting preserves. Serve the mixture on top of an Effie’s Ginger biscuit. It is very autumnal and cozy.
Turkey Sandwich with English Cheddar and Raspberry Mostarda
This is Stephanie’s favorite way to revive Thanksgiving leftovers or liven up some turkey all season long. The Blake Hill Raspberry Mostarda ties everything together, and the result is a sandwich her husband declared one of the best he has ever had.
Ingredients
• Turkey breast
• English cheddar
• Roasted Brussels sprouts
• Mayo
• Blake Hill Raspberry Mostarda
Instructions
Assemble a sandwich using turkey breast, English cheddar, roasted Brussels sprouts, mayo, and a thick layer of Blake Hill Raspberry Mostarda.
