The Full Wheel

For Beehive Cheese Co. founders Tim and Pat, a value of community runs deep. They chose to name their cheese company "Beehive" for Utah: “The Beehive State.” Beehive symbolizes the self-reliance it takes in the cheese industry to “make our desert bloom.” This cheese is rubbed with wildflower honey and and ancient pink salt. Sweet and creamy, the honey on the rind elevates its inherent sweetness without becoming cloyingly sweet. The honey is harvested from local bees, and the salt is from an ancient seabed near Redmond, Utah. Notice the unique flecks of color that are the result of more than 50 natural trace minerals. Can you taste the terroir? A true “Taste of Place!"
