Estate-bottled organic Cava from Alt Penedés, Spain (about 30 minutes from Barcelona), Navernan Cava showcases the three indigenous grapes that it is composed from: Xarel-lo lends body, Macabeo provides aromatic intensity, and Parellada gives acidity to the wine. Cavas are produced utilizing the same methods as in Champagne, and are an in-the-know choice for discerning sparkling drinkers. Stunningly pale green with a golden-tinge in color, bright and vibrant on the nose, relating Meyer lemon and melon scents, and complimented by a delightful undercurrent of smoky minerality.
